Of course.

[Easily, his hand finds its way back into her hair. He curls a few strands around his fingers, but rests there.]

[ She shifts a little and hums as she feels his fingers in her hair again. ]

Perhaps we can negotiate the rules. [ It's been long enough-

Then again, she wouldn't get to break the rules like this if they weren't in place. And there was something thrilling about trying not to get caught. ]

It's not that simple.

[She knows that. He's certain she does. That's why he almost doesn't continue. After another moment of thought though, he can't help but add:]

And even if it were, I'm sure your mother would have something to say about it.

[springmaiden]

[ She knows it- she just hates it. There aren't words for how much it drives her crazy.

She smirks a little. ]

She has something to say about everything.

[ But as soon as she makes the joke, she sighs and closes her eyes- a little defeated. ]

I am acutely aware.

[Not that they've spoken in awhile, but the last of their...debates is still clear in his mind.]

[springmaiden]

[ That gets a short, dry laugh from her. ]

She's a force, that's for sure.

[ She's had plenty of debates with her mother as well- though perhaps less heated than her poor husband had to deal with. ]

A force of nature.

[Is he joking? It's hard to tell with how perfect his deadpan is. He's certainly pleased with himself though.]

[springmaiden]

[ She laughs at it just the same, opening her eyes again as she does so. ]

That's an understatement.

[ She stretches an arm up, fingertips grazing his chin and jawline. ]

[He tilts his head and lightly nips at her fingers.]

You think?

[springmaiden]

[ She doesn't retreat her hand, just stills it, as she breathes out. ]

Mmmmm-hmmm.

[ She knows. But it's better to not get stuck on the topic of her mother- not if she intends to have any fun while breaking the rules. ]

Well, my dear,

[He gives her a long look over; gaze traveling from red hair all the way down to her bare feet and back again.]

I suppose we'll have to make due with what we have.

[springmaiden]

[ She wriggles a little as she watches his gaze sweep over her- never tiring of the way he looks at her. ]

And just what do you plan on doing in the time we have?

[ Is she turning it on him? Sure. But she's ready to suggest the continuation of what they started in the office if he doesn't. ]

[He'll hum, low and contemplative, before the beginnings of a smirk begin to play across his feet.]

Whatever my Queen commands.

[springmaiden]

[ She smiles a little more, her fingers resting on his cheek, lightly caressing as she feels the smirk tug at his lips. ]

Oh? She's hoping you'll continue what we started in the office, if that's the case.

[ Nevermind she's laying in his lap, she'll shift if needed if he doesn't pull her up. ]

[He hums again, than offers a steady hand for her to pull herself up with. It seems he has come to the same conclusion.]

As you will, then.

[springmaiden]

[ She accepts the hand, pulling herself up so she can sit in his lap now-

She leans in and presses her lips to his again, eager to continue what they'd stopped. ]

[He'll gladly pick up where they left off, now in the privacy of their bedroom. His hands move to her back; up then dragged back down before they settle on her hips.]

[springmaiden]

[ Persephone's arms wrap behind his neck as his hands drag up and down her back before resting on her hips.

She wriggles a little at his touch- starved for the attention from their two months apart. ]
